Conjouring Doctor Faustus - workshop
DOCTOR FAUSTUS
PRE-SHOW WORKSHOP
For schools and student groups
Before a performance of our co-production with West Yorkshire Playhouse; Director, Dominic Hill will offer a unique and practical insight into the making of the production. Written by Christopher Marlowe, this version of Doctor Faustus will have two acts re-written by Colin Teevan.
Looking at how the script was developed, its contemporary resonances, casting and the physical production process backstage, this 2 hour workshop will explore the creative practices that come together to make the final show on stage.
Participants will also have the opportunity to pose their own questions and take part in the re-creation of a key scene.
For students and secondary pupils 14+
Wed 17 April | 4.30-6.30pm
(followed by show at 7.30pm)
