GET INSIDE THE PLAY

Thu 3 May, 5pm & Wed 9 May, 5pm
Bring the language of the play to life and explore the characters, key scenes and themes of the production. Available as a pre-show workshop for Secondary School students at the Citizens or we can come to your school*.

Maximum of 30 pupils per workshop
Running time: 1 hour, 30 mins  


*Available in schools from February 2012 onwards

Cost (at Citizens): £50 state school, £100 independent school
Cost (in school): £75 state school, £150 independent school

An informal look at how lighting and sound are used in King Lear and why they are integral parts of every production.

Fri 27 April, 5.30pm
Musical Director Paddy Cuneen discusses how he approached creating the musical landscape for this most powerful of tragedies.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES | KING LEAR

Ever wondered how a play is put on stage? Fascinating insights into casting, rehearsal, design, lighting and costume.     

All events take place in the Main Auditorium
and will last approximately 40 mins.
